Enhanced and Medisave launch into the USA

New Access Dimensions installation

Following the successful implementation of Access Dimensions at Medisave’s UK Head Office in Weymouth, Graham Wright, Managing Director, has decided to introduce the same system to his new US operation medisave.net.

Medisave, who specialise in the distribution of medical equipment and supplies to hospitals, GP surgeries, nursing homes etc. are so delighted with the way that the Dimensions system has improved their business and helped them make considerable time savings that they are now rolling out the same system to their new offices in Connecticut and plan to do the same to their New Zealand Office medisave.co.nz in the new year.

Medisave have a very successful e-commerce website medisave.co.uk which creates an the immense number of transactions and they needed to find a system that would be able to seamlessly handle all their business transactions and automate many of the manual functions that were being carried out, Graham soon found that Access Dimensions had the capability of handling this very need. "We couldn’t risk jeopardising our website with the implementation of the new system, Enhanced were able to take our current site and integrate it seamlessly into Access Dimensions and in turn link Dimensions into our carriers systems." He continued "The consultants at Enhanced have worked closely with me to map out our business requirements and modify them accordingly. I am particularly impressed with how quickly they have turned my rough-hewn ideas into providing processes that drive efficiency, and pretty much everything is now automated from the receipt of customer orders and reordering of stock, to the delivery process and printing labels for our parcels. We want the buying experience from Medisave to be a pleasant one so we’ve been working on notifying customers about updates to their orders. We now automatically email details of each delivery to the customer with links to our carriers websites which they can use to track their delivery."

Only last Thursday, Enhanced’s Senior Programmer, Andrew Oborn was sitting at his desk in Ferndown, talking, over the internet, to Graham in Connecticut, helping him set up software to print labels in Connecticut using data drawn from their Dimensions database in Weymouth. Now if that is not flexible, time saving and efficient what is? And Mr Wright is very happy!
