 Camps International choose Enhanced Access Dimensions at local ethical travel company Enhanced win new business with Camps International, based locally in Ringwood.
Camps International is an award winning business that runs volunteer trips to Africa & Asia. The trips are aimed at all age groups and include school groups, GAP year students and personalised trips for individuals wishing to take a career break. The trips generally encompass both community work and conservation projects and offer the traveller the opportunity to add adventure trips to their itinerary as well. The trips are sold both directly to the consumer and also via agents across the globe.
With a head office in Dorset in the UK, the company also has subsidiary offices in both Africa and Asia that, not only account for the activities in these continents, but provide operational support. Across these two continents there are sites in 6 countries - each of which has several different destinations (camps). Many trips encompass more than one camp all of which are run by Camps staff.
Camps have a strong ethical approach to the environment and offer support to the communities in which the camps are situated. Many local people are employed and the projects are designed to help and develop these communities.
There are plans to expand the business into other countries and grow the choice of projects to the consumer and as such the head office is expanding into new offices and recruiting additional personnel to help Camps achieve these goals.
The company have taken Access Dimensions multi-currency and will be working closely with Enhanced to integrate their existing systems from their other localised offices (Africa and Asia).
