DJ Hutchings choose Dimensions

Enhanced are delighted to announce that they have just won a new business account with D J Hutchings, a building firm in Towcester, Northants.

D J Hutchings are a well established building firm, experienced in all aspects of construction but with a strong focus on insurance reinstatement and restoration work. They pride themselves on the excellent standard of their work and creating strong relationships with their customers. Their aim is to provide top quality, reliable, honest service.

They work with both corporate and domestic customers and are affiliated to numerous professional bodies covering many trades. Very often, insurance reinstatement work will include additional work for the customers and this is dealt with as additional projects direct with the policy holder rather than the insurance company.

With a 30% growth over the last 2 years, DJH had a £2m turn over last year and a steady growth is anticipated, particularly in the fire & flood area. New target areas include the Housing Association sector. Current permanent staff number 18 with a subcontracting workforce of over 20 skilled tradesmen .

One area of their business which they were keen to improve was the accounting and complex handling of the numerous projects they undertake. After in depth consultation Sarah Pollard, Business Development Manager for Enhanced recommended Access Dimensions Lite to help manage their accounting systems and Access FocalPoint, a browser based project management system, which integrates with the accounting package. Both systems will help add to the efficiency and smooth running of the business and help D J Hutchings continue to improve the quality and first class service they offer to their customers.

The new systems are expected to go live in December 2009.
